Mission
The Speech Production Lab is dedicated to improving the understanding of typical and disordered speech and feeding.
Our current research projects are focused on..
- understanding how various disorders, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and childhood apraxia of speech, impair speech,
- understaning how children develop essential skills to chew and talk,
- developing innovative methods for improving the assessment and diagnosis of childhood communication impairments.
